Dave Ream

Before joining the Research Computing team, Dave worked part-time on a variety of projects for the University IT Business Continuity and Communications teams. As senior editor in the department’s communications group until his official Stanford retirement in August 2014, Dave served as a leader and advocate for user-centered standards-based web and software design, online/digital accessibility, and cross-organization communities-of-practice. He started his career in IT communications in January 1992 after serving in key support roles for the Office of the Vice President for Public Affairs (assistant to the director of university relations) and the Stanford Centennial Celebration and related programs (assistant director and office manager), from 1987 to 1991.
