CTO - Research Computing
Ruth Marinshaw
Ruth mostly goes to meetings, leaving the real work of running and supporting lots of infrastructure and services to the expert consulting, programming and systems engineering members of the team. Active in various national HPC communities and projects, she co-chairs the National Science Foundation's Advisory Committee on Cyberinfrastructure. She spends a lot of time with faculty and campus research IT leaders to learn about current and emerging needs, and welcomes the opportunity to partner with you to evolve cyberinfrastructure (data, storage, visualization, computation, networking and consultation - remember: we are NOT just HPC) services to accelerate research at Stanford.
